Dr. Dannaker is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology. He has published extensively and contributed to numerous medical textbooks. Dr. Dannaker is a designated laser luminary and has been charged with training both domestic physicians and physicians from abroad. Dr. Dannaker was one of the first U.S. physicians to introduce Sculptra™ for facial volumization and rejuvenation. This is a revolutionary, biodegradable facial filler which acts much like fat injection, but without the downtime or pain. After a series of approximately three treatments, the hollows under the eyes, cheeks and facial deep creases begin to fill in and there is a more youthful facial appearance. The effect lasts years and only touch-up treatments will be required to maintain and improve the results. Dr. Dannaker has significantly refined this procedure with his Laserfill™ technique. Dr. Dannaker's approach combines the collagen stimulatory effects of Sculptra™ with deep laser treatments, all without downtime!

Dr. Dannaker has completed training with Dr. Jeffrey Klein, the developer of Tumescent Liposuction. We offer liposuction of the face and body, totally under local anesthesia. Patients are able to return to light duty the very next day and can often start to work out 2 to 3 days after the procedure. Dr. Klein developed and refined this procedure, which has an impeccable safety record and which can greatly minimize any post operative bruising or swelling. Dr. Dannaker is dedicated to offering procedures such as tumescent liposuction-procedures which he is confident are safe and can meet his patients' expectations. Most of the procedures he offers have been performed on his office staff and family members.

We offer both photodynamic photorejuvenation and Photodynamic Lite^SM. These procedures involve minimal downtime, yet it offers much greater facial rejuvenation effects than basicintense pulsed light photofacials. Dr. Dannaker has greatly refined this procedure to involve the use of an FDA approved topical solution, Levulan®, with an intense pulsed light device (similar to a laser) or a pulsed dye laser for activation, in addition to a LED light source treatment including several wavelengths to further enhance results. This combination of devices and topicals, developed by Dr. Dannaker through years of experience, reduces brown spots, flushing, rosacea, and blood vessels, and refines the texture and tone of the skin, all through a series of brief treatments. In addition for those with fair skin and/or a history of pre-cancers or skin cancer, this procedure also targets precancerous changes. It is an ideal procedure for patients who wish to minimize lost time from their busy schedules yet desire significant results.

We now have Perlane® available, a filler that lasts approximately 6-12 months and does not require prior skin allergy testing! Unlike most physicians who might of just started using Perlane®, Dr. Dannaker has many years of experience. He offers many other FDA approved fillers based on individual needs, such as Juvederm Ultra® and Ultra Plus®. Dr. Dannaker is experienced in the advanced techniques using fillers.
